In addition to hydraulic engineering, CERG specialises in fluid mechanics and provides its research, test, appraisal and training services to all sectors of industry.

And we have a wide variety of experimental facilities and digital tools to support our expertise.

Studies

We cover a huge range of subjects like hydrodynamics, aeraulics, multiphase fluids, cavitation, transient or raw states and flow-related vibrations. Fluid Mechanics is the common denominator in all these subjects linked to water, oil, fuel, solids or gas.

Tests

CERG, one of largest hydraulic test centres in Europe. 4,000m2 of platforms distributed over an area of 15,000m2, in the historical birthplace of fluid mechanics in France.

Its numerous facilities and high capacity infrastructure make CERG an international player in R&D and equipment qualification for a wide variety of industries such as Energy, Water & Environment, Oil & Gas, Transport, Defence and Manufacturing.

CERG has wind and water tunnels for propulsion or similitude testing.

We can offer tests for the qualification and development of pumps, valves, filters, exchangers and separators.

Appraisal

CERG makes on-site measurements and appraisals to help its customers understand phenomena and malfunctions and proposes effective modifications.

We also provide on-site technical support for the qualification of large equipment (pumps, valves) or to take specific measurements (cavitation, pressure fluctuations, etc.).

Training

Training Catalog 2021 

Train : upgrade your expertise or develop new skills, all good reasons for coming to CERG.

For over 30 years CERG has been providing training sessions for manufacturers working directly or indirectly with Fluid mechanics We welcome at least 120 internees per year, distributed over 8 main training topics. In 2018, two new training sessions are offered !
